February is the sweetest month of the year at Palisades Tahoe. This month is full of sunny days and cozy après, carving turns and hot tub soaks, but most of all its the month to remember all there is to love about this beautiful corner of the world. After you and your Valentine spend the day lapping the groomers or grabbing first tracks through the trees, it’s time to sit back, relax and count the ways you love each other and Palisades Tahoe.

Romantic Chairlift Ride for Two

Palisades Tahoe Skiing

Why not start off the sweetest month, with the most romantic chairlift ride at Palisades Tahoe? While we all love the quick lift lines and spreading out on the larger chairlifts, this February make tracks to the most romantic chairlift of them all, tucked away at Alpine Meadows. With just enough room for two and access to some fantastic terrain, the Alpine Bowl Chair will add a little extra romance to your ski day. Spend the afternoon lapping this sweet little chair before making your way to après.

Snowshoe Tour Dinner at The Chalet

Snowshoe Tour Dinner at The Chalet
While enjoying the chairlift for two at Alpine Meadows, you can end the day of chasing each other down the slopes with a Romantic Chalet Snowshoe Tour. This unique dinner option is not to be missed. The evening begins with a guided snowshoe to the mid-mountain Chalet. Once there, you’ll be rewarded with a champagne toast before your four course, wine-paired Bavarian meal. You’ll end the night, under the stars, counting the ways you love each other and Alpine Meadows.

Taco’s for Two

Tremigo at Village at Palisades Tahoe

If your idea of romance involves going straight from the slopes to après (and tacos!) then you’re in luck. Make it an extra special Taco Tuesday this February at Tremigo. Located right in the heart of the Village at Palisades Tahoe, you can make it from last chair to delicious Mexican food in no time. This restaurant is just a couple years old and it’s already a local’s favorite. Treat your love to shrimp ceviche, mahi mahi tacos and margaritas for two. Tequila and tacos enjoyed in your ski boots, what’s not to love?

Apres Wine Tasting

Apres Wine Tasting Lake Tahoe

Wine tasting might just be the best way to après. But, we are probably biased because the Village at Palisades Tahoe is lucky enough to have its very own specialty wine shop with a wide selection of wine to choose from. Be sure to drop into Uncorked to see what they have to offer and belly up to the bar to taste their selection of wine by the glass. Or, if you’re too tired and want to get your ski boots off and kick back, you’re in luck. Uncorked has a curated selection of wine that you can purchase by the bottle to enjoy back in the warmth of your own home. Pairing a day of skiing or snowboarding with a bottle of wine is a great way to enjoy Palisades Tahoe from morning until night.
