We got sick of doing dishes a while ago, so if you are looking to treat yourself to a night out, here are our top picks for places to safely enjoy enjoy dining outside, and often with a pretty spectacular view. Christy Hill

Sunnyside
Sunnyside Lodge is a Lake Tahoe staple – with a spacious deck perfect for catching the sunset, you might find yourself coming back time and time again. They offer simple and thoughtful cooking with an Aloha flair, using locally sourced ingredients and fresh seasonal flavors. Enjoy the ample variety of craft beers, creative cocktails, and fine wines on the waterfront deck. Check out their website for nightly specials like Burger night and Taco night. Open for lakeside dining on the deck Tuesday – Sunday from 12-9 pm.
Alibi Ale Works
With locations in both Truckee and Incline, Alibi Ale Works offers two locations where you can enjoy their long list of locally brewed beers, ciders, and delicious and creative food options. At the Truckee location, part of the parking lot has been converted into an outdoor Beer Garden – or check out the sprawling lawn at the Incline Village location. Either way, you’re almost sure to catch some live music and a delicious buzz.
The Bridgetender
A longtime local’s favorite, The Bridgetender Tavern has a spacious patio situated along the Truckee River. Famous for the “best burgers and Bloody Mary’s in Lake Tahoe,” you can enjoy daily specials and 15 beers on draft for lunch and dinner in their outdoor booths.
Jake’s on The Lake
Waterfront dining in the heart of Tahoe City, Jake’s is a family-owned restaurant featuring an abundance of fresh seafood, high-quality meats, and seasonal produce.
